Answer that!
So does that mean the universe had a beginning?
The evidence is all about ends. It's called the bell-end theory of creation.

It is scientifically accurate to explain a finite Universe which has a beginning from a singularity which itself is mathematically infinite. If the Universe is as described from the BB model, Spacetime curves back on itself, meaning our Universe can have a finite beginning and yet continuously expand forever to be infinitely large.
This means that even if there were events which happened before the BB they would be of no consequence to the Universe itself therefore they do not need to be considered for the BB model. This of course means that time itself also had a beginning (t1) and that there was also a point where one might say there was no time (t0).
This can be dealt with quite simply, first we must acknowledge that time is the measurement of change assigned to a specific point of 3 dimensional space. In the absence of space there is consequently no matter, no change therefore no dimension of time (t0).
As an analogy, a stationary object is measured at 0 kph then 1 kph once it starts to accelerate, however we don't use language like speed didn't exist prior to 1 kph we simply say it was stationary or 0 kph. So to say time didn't exist prior to t1 maybe true by definition however logically it runs into problems when asking how t0 leads to t1. If we except that inflation started at t0 and once matter formed so to did Spacetime allowing the measurement of change to create t1, the equation is logically consistent.
t0 then t1 NOT t0 + 1 = t1

Many have postulated that the universe exists within a black hole.
Not quite fact.

In the beginning there was only Darkness upon the Deep.

Before the beginning of the creative process the only thing in existenced was Black Whole, more often referred to as being Nothingness.

Nothingness existing as the omniscience of a Great Void, a State of Singularity, as the Transcendental Full Random Quantum State of Singularity.

Of course the term Existence being a misnomer, existence or non-existence being Uncertain, since Nothing was measurable as to location and Momentum within a Black Hole, Not Time, Space or Motion; Time being an eternal, everlasting, Singularity of Zero-0, Space being a Great Void, Motion being meaningless, without angular momentum, without velocity of speed and direction.

Motion existing as the insignificant innate, inner, motion of the Infinitely Finite Indivisible Singularity of Zero-0 as a vibration, an Oscillation, the motionless motion within making a humming sound, OHM !

The first number (to exist) in a series is the number One-1.

However there is a Number that precedes the number One-1.

Zero-0 precedes the number One-1 as a Singularity having no
relative, no numerical value, having a numerical value of Zero-0.

A Singularity of Zero-0 is a Transcendental Number; 0/1

Eduk; A single particle is inherent in descriptions of photons
A photon is not an Infinitely Finite Indivisible Singularity having no relative, numerical value, having a numerical value of Zero-0.

A Singularity, partial, excluding the usual definition, is the most minute particle in existence, even though the existence or non-existence of this Particle, Singularity is "Uncertain"

Why not say the God Particle is the ground of intrinsic observations.

Higgs is searching for his so called Boson but has not physically found it yet.

The Higgs Boson is theoretical at best.

What are they searching for at Cern if not the God Particle (the least possible amount).

The moment, point, between something and Nothing, relative to Time, is relative, subject, is intrinsic, to the past the present and the future, is the Arrow of Time.
